8-hydroxyquinoline sulfate ointment

An ointment formulation containing the sulfate salt of 8-hydroxyquinoline in a petrolatum and lanolin base with skin-protecting activity. Upon topical application, 8-hydroxyquinoline sulfate exhibits antiseptic activity while lanolin moisturizes and softens skin. Check for active clinical trials using this agent. (NCI Thesaurus)
