Ms. Peacock received her MS in Genetic Counseling from Boston University School of Medicine. Upon completion of her training, Ms. Peacock worked as a Cancer Genetic Counselor at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. During that time, she published multiple peer-reviewed articles and supervised genetic counseling students. She is licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine and certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling.

In her spare time, Ms. Peacock enjoys reading, baking, and spending time outdoors with her husband.
