Young Adults with Cancer Support Group

Participants: This group welcomes young adults ages 18-39 who are currently receiving active cancer treatment through Virginia Cancer Specialists, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation therapy, surgical preparation, or clinical trial treatment.

Purpose: Cancer during young adulthood brings unique emotional, social, and practical challenges. This group offers a supportive space to connect with peers, share experiences, learn coping strategies, and receive guidance from an oncology social worker.

Location: Virtual Meeting via Microsoft Teams

Time/Date: Meets every 3rd Thursday of the month; from 12:00pm- 1:00pm
