Virginia Cancer Specialists uses an automated appointment reminder system that will call two business days before your appointment to confirm the time and location. If you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, please call the office as soon as possible to reschedule. If you have an urgent medical problem and want to request a same day appointment, please call our office as soon as you can.

Our physicians and staff make every effort to see that your appointment takes place at the scheduled time. However, given the nature of an oncology practice, it is not unusual for delays to occur during the course of the day. We recognize that your time and that of your family is valuable. If your appointment is inordinately delayed, we will give you the opportunity to reschedule, if medically appropriate.

The My Care Plus Patient Portal offers registered users secure messaging for non-urgent questions. To register, patients may complete required paperwork in the office (visit the My Care Plus information site for more information).
