About Tracy Tierney
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Tracy uses a strengths-based approach to help patients develop the coping skills necessary to negotiate the emotional impact of cancer on their lives. Focusing on mental health and supportive care, Tracy uses evidence-based interventions to help patients and families learn ways to manage distress and ease suffering. With close to 30 years as a licensed clinical social worker, Tracy helps patients and caregivers find the emotional strength to acknowledge difficulties and develop skills needed to adjust to life changes. When not working, Tracy enjoys outdoor exercise, including cycling and hiking. She also spends time gardening, volunteering, and traveling.
