Every cancer patient and their family are different, with their own unique needs. My goal is to design an individual treatment plan to help each and every one of my patients to achieve the best outcome possible.
Geoffrey D. Moorer, MDDr. Geoffrey Moorer received his medical degree from the Temple University School of Medicine. After a residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center, Dr. Moorer completed his hematology and oncology fellowship at the Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Moorer’s research experience includes exploring novel chemotherapy regimens for the treatment of advanced pancreatic cancer.
Dr. Moorer holds memberships in several organizations including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology and the National Medical Association. He remains active in the medical and local communities through his involvement in hospital-based tumor boards and cancer committees and as the Medical Advisor for the First Mount Zion Baptist Church Survival Cancer Support Group.
In his spare time, Dr. Moorer enjoys traveling, reading, and staying physically active.
