Alexandria Flaherty, PA-C, has been a board-certified physician assistant since 2018 with experience in hematology and oncology, with a particular focus on breast cancer care. She specializes in providing expert, compassionate support to patients throughout their cancer journey—from diagnosis through survivorship.
Alix began her career in South Florida, where she worked closely with diverse patient populations and complex treatment plans. She is experienced in interpreting diagnostic data, monitoring chemotherapy patients, and coordinating multidisciplinary care. Now practicing under the supervision of Stephanie Akbari, MD, FACS, Breast Surgeon, Alix provides care for post-surgical patients, medical oncology patients, and individuals with benign or high-risk breast conditions.
Originally from Massachusetts, Alix is passionate about patient education and long-term wellness planning. She brings a warm, attentive presence to every patient interaction and values clear communication as a foundation of excellent care.
Outside of work, Alix enjoys reading psychological thrillers and has a special love for rescuing senior beagles.
