About Jennifer Squires

Jennifer Squires is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner with over two decades of experience in oncology and women’s health. She currently serves on the research and clinical trials team at Virginia Cancer Specialists’ Fairfax location, where she supports the advancement of cancer care through clinical research and patient-centered practice.

Jennifer’s career spans a wide range of oncology-focused roles, including advanced practice positions at Mid-Atlantic Gynecologic Oncology, the National Cancer Institute, and Monterey Bay Oncology. Her expertise includes chemotherapy planning, infusion clinic oversight, post-operative care, and clinical trial coordination. She has also contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications and presented extensively on gynecologic malignancies.

Jennifer is an active member of the Oncology Nursing Society and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is known for her dedication to evidence-based care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and improving outcomes for patients facing cancer.
