About Jessica George

Jessica George is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in oncology and bedside nursing. She began her career as a registered nurse at Virginia Hospital Center, where she provided compassionate care on a med-surg/oncology floor and later served as a clinical educator. After earning her MSN from Marymount University, she transitioned into advanced practice, joining Virginia Cancer Specialists in 2014.

At Virginia Cancer Specialists, Jessica collaborates with oncologists to deliver comprehensive care, manage chemotherapy education, and support cancer survivors through follow-up and life after treatment. Her clinical training spans urgent care, geriatrics, pediatrics, and women’s health, equipping her with a broad and adaptable skill set.

She is passionate about patient education, mentorship, and improving outcomes through evidence-based care. Jessica has also served as adjunct faculty at Marymount University, where she taught fundamental nursing skills and health assessments to undergraduate students.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys volunteering in community clinics, mentoring new nurses, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives in oncology care. She is committed to lifelong learning and delivering holistic, patient-centered care.
