About Laresa Meadows
Laresa Meadows is a board‑certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Oncology Certified Nurse with more than a decade of experience in outpatient oncology. She specializes in complex care coordination, symptom management, patient education, and collaborative care across medical, surgical, and radiation oncology settings.
Her clinical background includes extensive work in gastrointestinal oncology, head and neck radiation oncology, and multiple subspecialty oncology clinics. She brings strong skills in triage, anticipatory guidance, chemotherapy education, and interdisciplinary communication.
Before joining Virginia Cancer Specialists, Laresa served at The University of Kansas Cancer Center as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in Head & Neck Radiation Oncology, where she supported high‑volume, highly specialized oncology patients and assisted with complex procedures and coordinated multidisciplinary care. She also held roles at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and The University of Kansas Cancer Center, strengthening her expertise in GI oncology, symptom management, and evidence‑based practice.
