Mary has been a PA-C for over thirty six years, and started her career at John Hopkins Hospital, in cardiothoracic surgery, after, she relocated to Virginia while continuing to work in surgical subspecialities. For over a decade, she has worked as a surgical oncology PA.
She is an active member of the NCCPA, AAPA, the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) and the ACLM. She has a special interest in lifestyle medicine; particularly women’s physical, mental, and spiritual health. She is a certified health coach, specializing in the gut microbiome as well, who loves to help others reach their most vital, healthy, vibrant lives. Mary is a certified Lifestyle medicine practitioner through the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM), and is a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach (INHC). Mary is an active member of the ACLM, a group of medical practitioners who practice Lifestyle Medicine –a group of medical practitioners who focus on 6 pillars of evidence-based lifestyle and therapeutic approaches to prevent, treat, and oftentimes reverse lifestyle-related chronic disease.
Mary Zempolich is married to Steve and the mother of four amazing young adults – two on the Autism Spectrum. She enjoys running, yoga, hiking, gardening, spending time with family and friends, and is very grateful for the opportunity to serve.
