Michelle Rosen is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at Virginia Cancer Specialists, practicing at the Comprehensive Breast Center at the Fairfax office. She works closely with breast cancer specialists, including medical oncologists and breast surgeons, to support patients through all phases of their care.
Her clinical background includes extensive experience in oncology and bone marrow transplant nursing. She began her career at UPMC Hospital in Pittsburgh on a 28-bed Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, later joining Inova Fairfax Hospital’s Oncology Unit. In both roles, she served as a charge nurse and preceptor, mentoring new nurses and contributing to evidence-based practice initiatives.
Michelle has a strong interest in survivorship and regularly conducts survivorship visits, helping patients navigate life after treatment with a focus on long-term wellness and quality of life.
