Dr. Dar earned his medical degree from the University College of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India. He completed his fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Dar is board certified in medical oncology and internal medicine. He has a special interest in prostate, pancreatic and colon cancer.
Dr. Dar has won several awards including the Patients’ Choice Award for Most Compassionate and Best Doctor, as well as Top Doctor by Northern Virginia Magazine and Virginia Living Magazine . He holds professional memberships in multiple organizations including the American Society of Clinical Oncology .
Dr. Dar has also spent time overseas training oncology resident physicians and helping to improve global cancer care as a “Health Volunteer Overseas” (HVO), through The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).
Dr. Dar is married and has two children.
