An Advance Directive is a document which enables you to name, in advance, someone to speak for you if you were ever in a condition where you were unable to express your wishes. In addition to naming a person to speak on your behalf, you may—if you choose—indicate your wishes about medical care at the end of life.
Your physicians need this information. The easiest way to provide this is with an Advance Directive document. The national recommendations is that we should all have an Advance Directive, including people who are completely healthy.
Virginia Cancer Specialists uses an automated appointment reminder system that will call two business days before your appointment to confirm the time and location. If you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, please call the office as soon as possible to reschedule.
Thank you for choosing Virginia Cancer Specialists for your care and we look forward to meeting and serving you.
