Kai-Li Liang, MD

Bio

Kai-li Liang, MD, is a board-certified medical oncologist with a special interest in clinical research and cancer therapeutics. He completed fellowship training in Medical Oncology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine after serving as Chief Resident and completing his residency in Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Dr. Liang earned his medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine and his bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of Maryland, where he graduated magna cum laude.

Throughout his career, Dr. Liang has been actively involved in advancing cancer treatment through clinical research. His work has focused on gastrointestinal malignancies, immunotherapy, and the development of novel treatment approaches for pancreatic and colorectal cancers. He has served as a co-principal investigator on investigator-initiated clinical trials and has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications, presentations, and research initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for patients with cancer.

Dr. Liang has received recognition for his achievements in clinical care, research, and education, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology Young Investigator Award, the Larry Waterbury Award for Resident Clinical Excellence, and induction into the Distinguished Teaching Society of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
