Mid-Atlantic Blood Cancer Conference: A Valuable Educational Opportunity for Patients and Families

Physicians caring for patients with blood cancers know that treatment extends well beyond the clinic. Patients and their families often have questions about emerging therapies, treatment options, survivorship, and how to navigate life after a cancer diagnosis.

The Mid-Atlantic Blood Cancer Conference offers an opportunity for patients, survivors, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to learn directly from experts in blood cancer research, treatment, and survivorship.

October 3, 2026

9:00 AM–2:30 PM ET

Bethesda North Marriott Hotel

5701 Marinelli Rd
Bethesda, MD 20852

This free, in-person educational event will feature presentations addressing important topics in blood cancer care, with a focus on helping participants better understand treatment options, emerging therapies, survivorship issues, and supportive resources.

Among the featured presenters are:

  • Mitul Gandhi, MD — Lymphoma: Low Grade
  • Dipti Patel-Donnelly, MD — Chronic Myeloid Leukemia

For physicians and other healthcare professionals, the conference may also be a useful resource to share with patients and families looking for accessible, expert-led education about their disease and treatment journey.

Importantly, this is not a continuing education (CE) program. The event is designed as a free educational experience for blood cancer patients, survivors, family members, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.

If you have patients who may benefit from connecting with experts and learning more about blood cancer treatment and survivorship, consider sharing information about the conference with them.

Learn more and encourage eligible patients and families to attend this free educational event on October 3 in Bethesda.
