Participants
This group welcomes young adults ages 18-39 who are currently receiving active cancer treatment through Virginia Cancer Specialists, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation therapy, surgical preparation, or clinical trial treatment.
Purpose
Cancer during young adulthood brings unique emotional, social, and practical challenges. This group offers a supportive space to connect with peers, share experiences, learn coping strategies, and receive guidance from an oncology social worker.
